It's time for another update! This one took a little longer than usual, but I hope it was worth it! The most notable change in this update is the new beach course, Roving Sands. It's a medium sized course, larger than the pitch 'n' putt, but not as grand as the full sized courses. It does feature a full 18 holes, however, as well as a new sandy beach theme.
New features include an achievement system which awards achievements when certain mile stones are met, as well as tracking statistics such as number of games won and total putting distance played. Achievements and statistics can be viewed from the options menu by clicking on the small trophy icon at the bottom. There is also a new option in the video settings to adjust the FOV for those of you who find the default uncomfortable, or just prefer a wider angle. The putter is now more powerful, with longer distances possible, which also means the power bar motion has been tweaked slightly to allow more precision shots at lower velocities. Other updates are mostly small quality of life adjustments, although the mod kit has also been update with a Blender file containing a library of prop models, and the export script has been updated to allow exporting empties to mark the locations of particle systems on golf courses. For more information see the documentation included in the mod kit download.
As always I really appreciate everyone who has supported the game so far, and I have had some great feedback. If you do have any suggestions or notice any bugs please let me know! Moving forward version 1.5.0 is already under way - but it's going to be a BIG update! As such it won't be released for a while, but I will share more details as they become clearer to me as to how they should be implemented. Follow me on Twitter @trederiagames for progress, or just keep an eye on the repository at GitHub. Time permitting I shall be updating the modding guides on the GitHub wiki too, in the near future.
Thanks for playing!
